I received a pair of Razrwire's today. I have a treo 700w and I can not get them to connect. Has anyone had this problem?

Sometimes on bluetooth you need to lower the security level of the connection to pair them up

There may be a different method for pairing a bluetooth hands-free (like the Razrwire) than another bluetooth device type (like a phone) to your mobile. Possibly in another menu or set of options.

There's a couple of diff bluetooth standards now as well I think.. maybe u can check compatibility on the website (either Oakley or Treo)

Which colour combo Razrwire did you get btw?

I have turned off the security and tried to connect on all 4 ports (0,4,7,8) and same thing with the security on... What else to try?

Eshan,
Platinum/Gold Iridium.

Chad... Thanks for the love. If I can not get these things to work, somebody here will get a great deal.

Ok, figured it out. Here are the instructions for a treo 700 and razrwire...

ready treo for partnership.
hold multifunctional button down until solid led.
press multifunctional button twice to clear led.

should connect.

Sorry I got here to late, I have my Razr hooked up to my 700w treo. It really dosn't work that great but once you get use to it you will love it.

Things that have frustrated me on with the Razr and 700w

1. Can't hit the Aux button and do voice dialing through the Razr.

2. For some reason when I answer the phone there is a lag time. I have to pause 2sec before I say hello.. Really frustrating at times.

Other than those to key things it works great with the palm 700w

Yes,
James you are late... You could have saved me a little bit of stress. Thanks for offering to help. I have noticed a delay in answering, but for the voice dialing I have gotten used to finding everything in my contacts one handed...

I've got a different problem with my RazrWire. Is there supposed to be pad or a shim of some sort in the clasp to hold the unit tight to the Earstem? Mine used to snap on tight now they are very loose & almost slide up & down the Earstem freely. I got them from Ebay so, of course, no warranty. Any suggestions?

Yes there is supposed to be. The ear bud is warranted through Motorola for life for defects so you might try them. Or, maybe a thin peace of felt would do the trick?

for a shim like that thin leather would be better
