Thinking about getting them and have a few questions:

Does anyone have the Tortoise/Gold Clear Wardens?
How do you like them?
How is the Gold Clear lens?
Under what conditions do you wer them?

I've got a pair I recently picked up. Very glammy overall. The Gold Clear lens is a tad darker than a Ti Clear but the Ti is a good indication of what you could expect. I'm not sure yet whether I can give them the "two thumbs up". I didn't really buy them to wear, more of a display-only piece.

They're really nice, plus the frame color is beautiful !

Thanks for the pick and input guys. They have them at a store near by and I was thinking of selling my Gen1 polished gold/vr28 and buying these. They are definately unique but I just tryed on my pair again and fell in love all over. I think I may not sell them after all and still pick the clear one's up. That way I have a gen 1 and 2.

I much prefer the Polished Gold/VR28 Wardens. I think you are making a wise choice by keeping them. The Gold Clear's are worth picking up though because they are very unique.

I agree with you Rick. Just tried the clear ones on. I'm afraid that in the wrong lighting, they would look like dorky aviator eyeglasses (like the kind my dad has worn for most of my life). I may still get them but when I where them I'll wrap tape around the bridge :P

Keep the Gen1's, they'll only get rarer.
