Wow, those are all amazing Phil! Great work creativity and very artistic. I like the bottom one the most because the Icon Thumbprint is inside the Static O. (What a fantastic idea) Plus the fact the the half O are on both sides so if you put 2 banners together and maybe get a perfect O

Thanks, I was trying to use only enough of each logo so we potentially don't have any problems. Dann doesn't use any logos on the site which is pretty safe.

Photoshop is cool, but I prefer Illustrator. That's where I built those.

That's unfair guys.... what if some people has small collections and they are just trying to look up for the O icon............... i mean they dont have enough you know m**** to spend jkust like you so don't just let them be kicked out from this site.............

No worries, this is old news. No one will be turned away, and the site is still free.

Can someone please more fully explain what happened. It sounds like oakley forced you to remove all the pictures? If thats true I dont understand legally whats wrong. All you were doing is helping them by advertising their product.

Yeah they told us to remove every picture from the site. But after a few months I put them back up, and no one seems the wiser and it's been a year or so. I didn't see the point either.

Is it possible to have a data base of actual pictures?

In addition to the oakley images, have members photos.
Some of the watch pictures in some members collections are superb and give a much better representation of what they look like. There are also some images on the database missing, could these be filled with member pictures.

Members wanting to buy a timebomb for eg ask for actual images to make a more informed judgement, there could also be pics of different clasps etc.

Just a thought on having a complete database, what do you think

Oh right, yeah I thought about that, but never really had the time to implement it. I did make the glasses at a glance page for real life reference, and I've filled in some gaps in the DB for user photos when an official picture wasn't there. Another glance page for watches would be good. Course I could just use Bong's collection :P

Hey, what about a permanent "changes" thread where failures and news can be posted? And some of the "hardcore" members are allowed to pick the "really interesting" news, so that Dann can choose from only some news etc.
Because for me there are not enough news on the news page.
For example a "oakley.com-Newsticker" could be funny (just copied from the forum).
Just some ideas...

About the failures: For example the square wire 2.0 Macto Signature modell (emerald slate) does not have spring hinges.

Prob had them all made up pre springe hinged SW 2.0.

Are you sure? A friend of mine has one and there's no sh, just "matco" a drag emblem, pewter frame and rootbeer rubber.

That's exactly what Phil said. Anyway, I don't see how it's a 'mistake' or a 'failure', SW 2.0 was released both with and without spring hinges and each version had its own colourways, though there was a fair bit of overlap.
