Must be something about scale and distance. Or a miniature park. That's probably why David looks so huge!

I have to chime in and say it was another boring race.

I loved F1, but the past seven yrs has seen the slow death of a great sport. All we see now are processions of these cars, and very little true racing.

They need to bring back slick tyres and reduce the reliance on areodynamics to improve the ability of a F1 car to get close to another to pass them, till then they will remain in processions.
A race is now essentially won at quailifying.

Look at Alonso.. he leads from Pole, who has a chance of catching him, if you do get close the turbualnce at the rear from aerodynamics and the Monaco track make it near impossible. Thats just not a race it's watching cars go around and around really fast.

I've said it before and will say it again: back to the days when autoracing was dangerous and sex safe: remove all electic circuits and let man do the work!

true, but i am still hoping and praying to see a race like the one at SPA belgium where Mika hakkinen overtook schumacher at 200Mph going into a right hand turn AND pass another lapped rider in one solid move.

The myth that there is no passing in F1 is bull!! The problem is that the passing is going on in the back of the pack. Also, you have to remember that things happen in the pits as well. Not to mention the fact that some of the appeal of F1 is politics, and drama. It's like no other!! Futhermore the quilifing is almost as exciting as the race.

Monaco is always boring, it's one of the oldest races and in on a circut that can't be modified to much to promote passing. But on track such as Indy you see a good amount of passing.

And if you didn't think last years going down to the wire season was not exciting well, there is alwasy NASCAR.

GEDDER DUN!!!

BTW Peter can i request some pics of the McLaren pit crew wearing those O goggles?
ive seen them wearin it on tv a lot of times but couldnt find any pics of it.
thanks.

yeah bout overtaking, theyre revamping rules bout engines again rite? in 2011 maybe.. the revs limited to 10krpm.. and turbo boosters like in A1 to increase overtaking.
anyhow, this year is a great championship. so many contenders.
and my fav team bmw doin well.
go spiderman... no wait wrong thread
