I'll be there for 4 days. How close is the O Vault to the Strip and is it worth going to? Last time I was there (3 years ago) I remember some good "O" dealers in some of the hotel shops. Any suggestions??

I don't know where the Vegas Vault is ... and I've never been to Vegas before. So I'm totally an expert. But word on the o-review street has it that the Vault is definitely a place you'll want to go to.

The Vault is just north of the strip off of I-15, which is the freeway that runs basically the entire length of the strip, just west of it. Any cab driver will know how to get you there. In fact, that mall itself is advertised on the tops of several cabs.

The LV vault store is about a $20 ride from center strip, like the Bellagio or Paris. I would say if you are comfortable, take the bus to Binions in Downtown and go from there by cab. Its a nice store, but slightly small, like most O-Stores. If you have some extra $$$ and time, check it out if you have never been to a vault. They have some cool old stuff but only a small selection of new merch.

Enjoy the city!

We'll...I'm back. Never made it to the Vault...long story.

The only 2 places I noticed were one in Mandalay Place, I don't remember the name of the store but they carried just about every pair Oakley currently makes in several colors along with a ton of watches. Prices were really high though. Polished Emerald Ichiros (which I was wearing at the time)....$440.

The other was a kiosk right inside New York, New York which at first glance looked cool but as I got closer I noticed the the displays were not very well put together. There were 2 long waist high display cases with towers on each end. The low displays only had about 10 pairs each and I'm sure they could easily hold a 100 and not to mention quite dusty. One tower had some hats thrown in it and the other some wallets and misc. stuff. Not very nice at all. Behind the counter were 2 more high wide displays with some t-shirts. Overall...not very impressive.

if so , warn the sales rep of that area , he might do something about it.

The shame is, to see the kiosk, it looks like a company run location because only O stuff is displayed and there are no other signs that I noticed.

The sales rep in this area is Paul Hymas. One of the best in the country. He knows about that location all too well. He's so busy he probably just doesn't want to be bothered with them.
