People have been putting up some great pics. Is there some way to indicate what galleries have been recently added to?

Hey - if it's not easy no sweat. Right now I can run through the bulk of the galleries quickly anyway, but maybe if the galleries start to get really big.

We can always just have a thread were we can let others know we have updated our galleries with new pics or product. Or we can just let memebers know in the ever popular Latest Purchases Thread.

Good idea Phil,
Im hoping to start my own gallery soon. cos ive been meaning to take pics of all my oakleys for insurance reasons and cos it will look amazing.
is there a limit on how many pics someone can have in their gallery?
cos I want to take a few pics of the entire collection and then 1 of each individual pair.
thats gonna be over 50 pics, am I allowed that many?

Yeah, sky's the limit, but if you're going to take individual pics, just put them in the Collection's picture upload. The gallery should be pictures you want to share, or of entire collections.

I just had a bad thought, if the server explodes or something will we loose all the reviews, posts, collections and stuff?

i've been uploading a lot of photos from my collection... more than half of the pictures in the "Wires" section are mine. ^_^
however the pictures don't do the glasses justice since i have a crappy digicam.
once i get a better digital camera, i'll retake them... perhaps with a better background instead of the carpeted floor.

I back up the db from time to time. I need to make it automated though. My other system backs up to zip disk every so often. I may need to start doing that.

is it that easy to back up the whole site?
how large is the backup file? I thought it would have been bigger than a zip disk.
