Ok, so I have had my trusty D2 for about 9 months now. Last night I thought I noticed that my backlight feature was not working correctly (I had just a bit too much to drink so I wasn't too sure at the time). I double checked it this morning and I can see the time clearly for less than a brief second before the whole face just kind of dully glows green and you can't read anything on it. Is this something that could be warranteed? I think I may call customer service to try and sort something out.
Has anyone else had this problem before?

Thanks!

Hi,yes change the battery when you use the backlight it uses much more power thus draining the battery thats why you loose the lcd readout.

Thanks, I will give that a go. I am really suprised that the battery needs to be replaced already as the watch is not that old.

Any suggestions on where to get the battery replaced? Thanks!

It might have sat around in a store or warehouse for as much as a year or two before it got to you.

Can any watch shop replace the battery or does it have to go back to Oakley. Mine is doing the same thing.

I was able to get my D1 battery replaced pretty easily by any ol' regular watch shop.

You young people... back in my day (6 months ago) I changed the battery myself. The Battery is a CR 2025 Lithuim battery
