I'd say go for the Crosshairs Kimberly!

I've yet to meet one girl that i've seen try them on and not pull them off!

(I'm such a bad influence.:) lol..)

Stop it, stop it, stop it! ;) The next on my list had been the Metal 24k twenties. Now 24k will look really blinged out with my complection, but there's that danger that twenties might be too big. I don't think so, but it could happen.

And I know the crosshairs fit. ;) Well, I'll wait until these ti frames are released before worrying about it.... or so I tell myself. :)

Thats ok, we've all been there. I've yet to start chipping away at my wish list simply because I cant stop myself from buying other pairs that come up.

Same here. Except for the grips I haven't gotten anything off my wishlist. Every purchase has been unexpected.

Well if you go with the Bottlecaps, the 24K XX will be the first pair on your list :) lol..

Alright then, to pass the time, show of hands, can a girl pass off 24K XX's? ;)

yes! :)
those 24K XX looks lovely. people nowadays are into fashionably bigger sunglasses anyway, so the XX would look great. the lenses/orbitals are just a tad taller than the Juliets, they look great.

I was telling my husband excitedly about some planned purchases. It's a weakness of mine to blab excitedly and sound like a total geek about stuff I want. This isn't the only expensive pasttime, but I also have a weakness for headphone stuff.

When I was telling him about these new ti Crosshairs he said "This isn't going to turn into another headphone craze is it??"

I probably shoulda kept my mouth shut and just taken his compliments when he noticed I was stylin'.

In defense of me though, I now only have 4 sets of headphones, so I've settled down there. :)

darn girl, just four headphones!? LOL... well, i'm currently thinking about selling off a few headphones myself, as well as a couple of vintage Sony Discmans. however, my Grados and Etymotics are staying.

i'm sure those B&O A8's you had doesn't count as proper headphones, did they?

Oakley craze, headphone craze, it's all the same to me... darn money sucking hobbies!

There was a time I thought the A8's were IT. LOL. Yeah, I've consolidated, downsized my collection.

But those 4 don't count "the drawer." You know the one I mean, the drawer of forgotten headphones and cables that are too cheap to sell because they aren't worth the shipping price. That drawer is still over-flowing. ;)

Senn 650s, hf-1s, old dt990s, Sensas. That really covers all the bases. :)

But I still have a Diablo pre-ordered so I'm not getting out of the game by a long way. Ultrasone is also sending me some icans for review. Free stuff is always cool. :)

oh yeah... the drawer. i've got lots of those, mainly vintage Sony Fontopia headphones. as for Ultrasone, i have the HFI650, but those are one of the pairs i wanna sell off... not to happy with the sound, treble is way too bright.

aargh... went to the O-Store today and they had NO IDEA when the Ti Whiskers are coming. oh well... keep playing the waiting game.

We had a false alarm on the ti crosshairs as well in the Latest Purchases thread.

My drawer has some expensive stuff in it, like the audio technica es5. and some really crapp but expensive ath in-ear buds. Then there's some er6-i's and even an HD201. :)

Kim, have you considered taking up a hobby that doesn't focus so much on your head?

Just got to try on the T.I.Crosshairs this weekend and these things are awesome!!!!

When I first read this thread I couldnt see myself paying $250 for a non-X-Metal frame but after trying them on I am going to have to reconsider. For anyone that hasnt seen these in person, let me just say that... THESE THINGS ARE LIGHT!! you cant even tell your wearing them. These make my chrome Crosshairs fell like a brick. You guys definitely have to try these out for yourself.

We have all four now.. loving the Titanium/Ti (much lighter color than the Ti Pewter SqW, btw) whisker and Xhair, not so much the burnt copper or polished black (although at least they're different).

And yes, amazingly light. Maui Jim beta Ti light.

Ti whisker, wow. It's sooo light it's untrue! I couldn't stretch to 230 notes though so I had to stick with Ti/Ti xhairs... woo :)
