Hey EC thanks for the PDF link!

It's too bad the large women's AP is so small I was really thinking about getting one. Although as I mentioned earlier, why does the O website have that AP vest listed only under the men's apparel?

I think there's a bunch of stuff from the new catalogue that hasn't been released yet, at least on the website.

thanks for that link.. alas it still does not mention what i need it to. hell i even talked to 3 customer service reps and people from o stores and no one knows what its used for. suggestions are to put a laptop in the zipper but as light as that thing is i don't trust it.

The zipper in the back is for a hydration bag.

I've only tried the original, and it's ridiculously comfortable if you're 6' and skinny (like me)- fits like a glove. If you're a bit beefier, I can see it being pretty hard to put on.

i had one in XL a while ago, and fit me pretty well with a bit of room to spare. i'm 5'-11" and not exactly in the best of shape (unless you consider round a shape) so i couldn't possibly fit into a Large. however, if you a bit bigger than me even the XL will be a tight fit. my guess is because these vests are designed that way to carry a heavy pack on you back, so you wouldn't want any slack.

anyway, about the zipper in the back, it's on the inside lining of the vest. i was wondering what that pocket was for as well.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has worn the vest to travel outside of their country. I was thinking of buying the AP Vest and AP Pack for travelling in Asia (May'06). I'm kinda weiry that I'd be stopped by authorities everywhere I go. I just figured the vest had a lot of pockets so I can carry my passport, cash, plane ticket, cell phone, etc.

but what are the two little straps for on the inside front just above the hem?

Tried on the women's one and it's so much nicer, shame...
