very very cool Nik, congrats! thaks for the ton of photos. i'm really interested in the RazrWire but i have to try it on before i buy it.

i was curious today so i popped into the local Cingular to check out the RazrWire... man, it was locked inside a case those people just look like they didn't want to work there. i asked three different sales reps to see it, but they're all like, oh go ask so and so. i got fed up and just left.

Congrats Nik, See if both the Thump Charger and World charger works for the Razrwire. I thought somebody had mentioned that.

Rob, you should be able to get the Motorola V710, E815 or Lg VX8100 anywhere Verizon is unless you're in some hick, backwoods area running off some old hand-crank powered analog tower! Even if they're holding off some models pending EVDO data, you should still be able to get the V710 which is a fine phone at a good price. & yes Nik, I immediately rearranged Lake's sentence. It's just how I process things but I also think it gave us all a disturbing insight into just how excited you were about getting the R-Wires!

I think it's important to point out that bluetooth has nothing to do with reception....it's a software/cell phone thing regardless of the carrier or reception. If you don't have a phone that has bluetooth - go buy one off of ebay for your carrier....cause this thing is too cool.

Congratulations Nik they look really good mate!
You asked if anyone else is going to get one, well, the answer is yes I most definitley will be! They've had all 3 colours on display in the ostore for months now but they're not selling them until the middle of september sometime :( Is there any chances of a couple of pics with the Razr in action?

On a side note, we seem to have a little formatting issue going on!

Hello Joe, welcome to the site mate! Do you thinK you could reduce your avatar's size a little bit please. Thanks and enjoy the oreview!

I went to the Metro Detroit area and was told the V710 was no longer offered and the E815 had some software problems and wasn't being sold right know. When I asked the guy what other BlueTooth compatible phones they had he pointed to the PDA type. DOn't want something that big.

Maybe it's another case of the salepeople not knowing their products...sound familar.

Robert, I've heard of no software issues with the E815 it's a phenomenal phone & I know the 815 kinda replaced the 710 but the plans were to keep them both available for now. I'm really surprised they did'nt have the LG 8100, we've had it for weeks now & I would consider it the best phone we carry. Maybe check with a reputable independent agent.

I'm still hearing unconfirmed rumors from o-store staff that they (cincular, I guess) may be running a promotion where you get a free Razr phone if you buy the Razorwire.

Excitine? yes True? dunno

It fits very tight - not loose at all.

It fits only at the tip of the arm. It will not slide on the arm. For me, I need it closer to the front of the frame so the Juliet will not work. Works good on the Romeo 2 but is a little loose. Nothing that a little padding wont fix.

That is true - the fit is going to be determined by the size of your head....but the boom is pretty adjustable....
