I looked at the database archive from 7/20/2005 and the URL field was just blank. Lemme check the log files.

Sometimes malicious programs fill in fields that have certain names, in this case 'URL'.

I use ad-adware for spyware removing and its great .

www.lavasoftusa.com its free, easy to install to.

But when you have problems, Norton utilities is the best at dealing with big problems such as a registry infested with bugs.

I used to use AdAware. Now I use Pestpatrol combined with Spybot. I end up having to remove the nasty bugs like CoolWebSearch manuall though. HijackThis is a good tool for disabling startup things.

meh, I don't know much about computers so I usually just back up my files and reformat the hard drive when it gets messy. thanks for the tips though. i will try one of those next time.

there are things in my collection that I don't own, like the FMJ m-frames and the medium soft vault.

I was wondering about those, since I didn't think you had those. I think Chris has some stray items too. Must have been some conversion errors from when we moved servers.

Maybe you guys should switch to MAC. We dont have any popups/spyware and there are no known viruses for our OS.

There are Mac virii, but it's pretty hard to get them. I never get bothered with spyware though, but I sure to make a lot of money cleaning it off other people's computers :) Viva spyware! It fuels my addiction.
