I went into a Vault today to try on all the watches they had (I narrowed down to Gearbox, Transfer Case and Bottle Cap) and I was pleasantly surprised by said employees disgust with Lux. He was angry with the bland new releases and lack of exclusive colorways ala Sunglass Hut. I tried on the Valve and was not impressed. Besides blah look, they felt too light and flimsy. He also passed on info that the complete woman's line is soon to be gone. Kind of sad if true.

Well, they helps with trying to remember all the models, and saves me a bit of data entry I suppose.

On a side note, I went to a different Vault yesterday and the guy, off the bat, was badmouthing Lux and their love for SH. It was kind of funny cause he was cussing like a sailor. Not very professional, but like I said, funny. They had an INSANE amount of clearance items there including pairs like the TACA Fuel Cell. There had to be over 100 pairs in that case.

nothing at all good on the women's line for a long time. Sounds like what Hans was saying at RED was just filler material then. Supposed to be a way better year, women specifically involved in the design...blah blah blah.

So very true. And to address the flimsy, that is the inherent nature of the Chinese produced frames of today from Oakley. I have been saying it but very few want to believe when I say the stuff ain't the same. If they wanna cheapen em up, then cheapen the price too.

They felt like I was holding flea market 3 for $20 sunglasses. I didn't dare try to flex the arms. They'd probably snap. :/

BTW, I went to a Vault for the third day in a row. I made 2 non-sunglass purchases. Maybe another tomorrow?

No worries on that part, we all pretty much hate lux down at stores! hahaha

I knew women's clothing would be more focused in the future, hadn't heard about eyewear though

...I received an email from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers with the subject line of "Fuel cells, carbon fiber on display at Geneva motor show" only to be disappointed when I opened it to find that it was information about some new exotic car.'

..you pick up oakley stuff for workmates, even if you are a few pennies out of pocket to spread the word, they've given you the cash, but dont pay for your time. You just do it because o matters!
