I'm sure everyone here is likely more on the pulse than I am so I was wondering if these rumors are just that or if if there is some validity to Oakley doing a re-release of the Over The Top this year?

Frankly, im not sure yet. The original pictures posted on piets IG only showed a handful of units. Like 4 or 5. I'm not sure if thats becasue thats all they made or if that was just a teaser.

I can say if these end up a production peice I'll find it very annoying. At the 2020 release a big deal was made about how that was the last 20 pieces to ever be made, and the mold was bad, and those were found in a closet somewhere and repainted bla bla bla....

If that wasn't the case I'd guess that was all a lie to jack up the price of those 20, which is pretty disappointing.

I kinda think it’d be cool, I’d certainly try to pick up a pair or two. But it kinda waters down the impact of the originals, I definitely remember when they came out.
