Prizm Daily is a lens tint designed to enhance contrast in more urban environments. It does not utilize a iridium coating to my knowledge. According to Oakley has a light grey base but it appears to have a slight purple tint to me.
If you are you talking about Prizm "black" polarized then its more of a replacement for Black iridium. It uses the Prizm Universal tint. Meant for daily use in bright light and has Iridium coating. Just think of it as the new BI.
It seems there is "just" the Prizm and the Daily Prizm lenses. I am not so concerned about the exterior lens coat but more of the functionality of just the Prizm Polarized vs the DPP.
MicahS, I think the "just" Prizm is the Prizm Universal, right?
I made this point recently as well. It seams Oakley has been systematically reducing the amount of information they provide on their website.
You used to get info on lens tints, light transmission, frame dimensions. These were all helpful if, like me, the nearest store is hours away and you were looking to compare without trying anything on.
