I came across www.ioffer.com a while ago when looking for some nice jeans (came up in a google search). You can buy fake stuff here in bulk then re-sell it on ebay. Not that I am condoning it, I just wanted to let everyone know that there are people that make it easy to do this BS. Imagine how much less stuff would cost if companies didn't have to spend money to defend their trademarks.

They can and do. Just gotta track them down. They salvage millions worth of fake each year. Mostly in Chinese factory raids.
