Like the title asks.

Is there a way to swap the lenses in a new zero. I cant even figure out how they are held in place. I've seen quite a few pairs on ebay that are called "custom" but just look like the lenses have been switched around fro other pairs.

I haven't tried it, but I imagine it's some sort of hook system that's just snug enough to hold. I haven't had the courage to try it for myself though.

Contacted someone who had this to say:

It's notched top and bottom, so pull the top side of the arm upwards and away from the lens, then slide the bottom out.

You can easily "dent" the catch on the arm side

Thanks for the info Dann.

I'm in the same boat. I've got two pairs that are in fair condition that I could make one good one out of but I'm not sure if I'm willing to risk it yet.

Two fair are better that two broken !! :)

I've heard that warm water will help soften the O Matter, and that will result in less of a risk.

I already tried. It's quite easy, but yes, there's the risk to damage the inside of the frame if you do it too often.

So the top is more shallow.

Thanks guys this gives me more confidence. I think I'll give this a shot when I get home.

So it looks like pulling it out from the top edge would be the right way to go then.

Yeah, the bottom is the 'hook', while the top is just a notch like the two sides of a Half Jacket lens.

Awesome guys. Got the lens out and soon I'll have a wearable pair of Lil John Zero's.
