Grab Bag
The Grab Bag program incorporates custom icons in three different Square O models, the Eye Patch, Gascan and Hijinx. Each paired with a Black, White, or Rootbeer frame with a random and unknown icon. Initially in August 2007, the Gascan, Eye Patch, and Hijinx would be sold without the buyer knowing which icon they would get, but later on Gascan and Hijinx models had specific icons, rolling out via monthly releases from March to December of 2008.

Oakley published a "Limited Editions" catalog around 5-6 years ago that gave some production numbers on these grabs bags (as well as some Frogskins and early artist series releases). I found the numbers to be somewhat dubious due to the weird numbers, but it was a good source of info and a cool catalog. Hopefully someone has the scans to those readily available. I tried finding it in my stash, but it's buried somewhere where I can't find it.

I need to do a world tour and help people organize their collections. Maybe I should approach the Discovery Channel and get my own show.

That would be cool. I'd watch that.

Collector shows are starting to pop up more and more. Collection Intervention came and went, but there's a new show called Extreme Collectors on Slice that's more geared towards real collectors rather than treating it as a disorder. That'll be interesting if I can ever remember to catch it on a regular basis.

Shock and awe seems to be their target.

I've been looking for a pair with the Score icons, but I've never found one. On my list.

Got the catalog you mentioned Oak. I'm fearful of breaking the binding, but I'll try to data mine some of the information.

Has there been any headway made on this list? I have a Brown Barcode on a Brown Smoke Hijinx and a Black/Red Stripe on a Polished Black Eyepatch, both of which are not described, unless BCL is the barcode. I hope we haven't given up...

Yeah, looks like BCL is Bar Code Label. Plug '9' for September into the 12-155BG# SKU and it comes up with that icon. Searching for 12-153/12-154/12-155 should return the monthly combos.
