any place i can find info on telling the difference between the fakes and the real deal? i see alot on ebay for sale, but dont remember what the fake signs were. thought at one point only the real ones had the patent # stamped on the top bar, but not sure if that is true

We had some discussion on patent numbers on the Mumbos. That seemed to be an early generational thing, but I don't recall the whether or not the Blade System also had it. Let me check mine.

my question is did all the years of razorblades have that or were there production runs that didnt include that #. i dont recall seeing any without the patent#, but that doesnt mean they didnt make any. ive seen a few on ebay without that # and they swear theyre authentic, but would really like to know for sure. i have 3 pair, and they all have it.

Blades ran until 1996, so it's possible that they dropped them. My guess would be around 1989 if at all, since the M's did the same. I'll have to leave it to the others to check. I have a few more coming, but it will be a while.

its tough to find any vintage nowdays, especially in good condition, but if your nut fussed on quality ebay is always a good option for used pairs.
