For the first time, I'm thinking of getting a pair of Oakley prescription eyeglasses. I normally stick with Flexon because the memory metal is extremely durable.

Does anyone here no how well Oakleys hold up to abuse (i.e. small kids grabbing at them)? I'm thinking of getting the Transistor Pewter/51.

If the Transistor is like the Nanowire line like it claims, they did hold up pretty well. But I've never really stressed them to the point where I thought they would break.

I think Oakley opthalmic frames in general hold up pretty well, though I don't have too much experience with Nanowire. I probably get 1-1.5 years out of the ones I've had before they start breaking down (frames get bent out of shape, hinges break, unobtainium becomes complete detached), but those were C5/O Matter rather than Nanowire.
