Great shoes! People comment on them often. The leather on mine is a little tough, and dug my foot at first but they get softer and better with wear. Not too good in wet weather as the arch vents let in water. The laces are a work of art though. They're "ribbed" and DO NOT COME UNTIED unless you pull on them! Leave it to Oakley to improve on a simple design! The soles were slippery at first but also get much better with wear and can be hard to clean off.

need more cushioning.....the shoe apearance looks like they came from hell.....if u want to get attention...always wear them
Color: Blue/Grey
I wore mine a couple of times for rock climbing and abseiling, they were fine, and more comfortable than I thought they would be. I wore them for the hike there and back too. Alot of the earlier shoes are pretty tough leather, so when they crease, they can dig into your foot, but these seemed ok
Color: Grey
I found these shoes a tad too heavy even though they were designed for hiking they still didn't grip on terrain as well as they should of. A nice fit but if you don't put them on properly you'll find the tounge digging into your foot! not a nice feel. I bought these shoes because I liked the grey suide design and the soles were quite unique with all the small grooves eminating from the sides.

I have had my Chop Saw shoes for over 4 months now and they still feel incredible. I like that wide sole which provides great feel when hiking. Great traction from rocks to soft-pack dirt. They do get dirty rather quickly, but if you keep them clean with a quality suede cleaner, you will find that they clean up rather nicely.
I recommend them highly for the outdoors. However, I would choose a darker color for daily wear.
