Frame: Matte Black
Lens: RX Clear with AR coating

very light and comfortable frames. i love the high contrast of the O icon on the temples and the matte black finish. the orbitals are very square looking, and the earstems are nicely sculpted with a flat surface for an easy grip when taking them off or putting them on. very cool looking RX frames.

I have these and I wear them everyday. I like the frame style and weight. Glad I bought them. Way better than my Off Line 4.0's.

Frame: Matte Black
Lens: not Oakelys, just precription clear lenses with Teflon coating

Well, considering it was 'Chop Top 6.0' that I was looking for information on, and that I typed it into google and found this website, I find it somewhat cathartic that I am now writing my review on the Chop Top 6.0, so that if you are looking at buying these frames, I hope this helps you decide.

Most Oakley prescrition frames didn't fit my face, or I didn't like the style. Once I saw the picture for these on the Oakley website, I knew they would be the ones that would suit me. I scoured the net for prices and reviews (and through it all I found this site) but there were no reviews or info here on them.

I bided my time on eBay and got the Matte Black pair for $140 US (I would have preferred the Black Ice, but for the price I'm not complaining.) I actually bought these frames sight unseen and had no idea if they would suit me. Luckily, they do.

The frames are strong, made out of titanium (which Oakley calls 'X Metal' and is made out of the same titanium alloy as the Julet et al), and the design is subtle yet brilliant.

The orbitals are long and rectangular. I looked at the difference between 2.0, 4.0 and 6.0 and if you want to know the differences, they can be found on the orbitals. The 2.0s have very small rounded orbitals and the 6.0s are very straight and rectangular. The 4.0s are somewhere in the middle.

The temples have very small 'O' icons, which look extremley awesome. It lets people know you are rocking the Oakley even when you're watching a movie or reading a book, but it doesn't scream it out. Like I said, subtle yet brilliant.

The coolest design on the Chop Tops is the ear stems. (They have a spring hinge at the temples, something I am not extremely fond of, but it may work to my advantage. We'll see.)

The ear stems, when viewed from the side parallel to the ground look like normal earstems. But at any other angle, you can see the way the kind of jut out, exactly like the earstem design on X-metal Penny. This is what differntiates these frames from any other Oakley prescripts, and any other companies frames on the market.

If you are like me and evolution has left you behind, at least deal with it by wearing the coolest frames on the planet.

Frame: Chop Top 6.0
Lens: Crisal coated, anti scratch coating

I like the fit and feel of oakley Rx. I have to say that these are definetly some of the toughest frames I have had the pleasure of owning and losing. This is probably my fith pair of so I have had other models but do not remember exactly which ones. I know I have had one of the titanium series, second chop top, and a frame and that is all the I remember but I do really like oakley Rx all though I like Persol sunglasses much better that oakleys.

Frame: Chop Top 6.0
Lens: Generic Anti glare

Good frames lightweight and easy to wear - resilient too - I slept on them the first night I got them and nothing happened to them - which means they can survive 150 pounds of bodyweight easy - however the design is too plain and nobody has ever complimented me or said Whoa those are cool glasses - its just like wearing some ordinary crap except that this pair costs like 250 dollars because of the titanium.I'd give it a 2 - they definitely need to do better in terms of RX design - add some designer flair to the RX range also
