I had some reservations about this lens before trying it because I usually don't like lenses without the Iridium coating. But after trying it in both the Tailhook and Sliver I can say I love it. I live in a area where bright sunny days are not the majority so a lens that is able to be worn in both bright sunlight to cloudy, overcast is a real bonus. It really helps increase the contrast in just about any lighting condition which is what I look for in a lens.

The only drawback is that without the iridium coating I doesn't hide your eyes as much as other lenses which doesn't bother me too much but may be a sticking point for some.

If you looking for a lens for most lighting conditions that really increases contrast, this is the perfect lens.
