Ok so I'm adding this review so that others can know why these are deceptively bad. First off stylistically yes these are hot looking and the super large lenses actually fit my Asian face with little to no adjustment. The frames are beautiful as well and as far as the detail of this model they are very well executed. I owned them for about a year.

Now the bad. As with many hinge designs these ones loosen quite a bit over time. More so than any other Oakleys I have ever owned period. They got lost because of this (ok and my negligence). They were hanging on my shirt while I was out and they must have fallen off somewhere because the dang hinge opened and fell right off. While I was sort of sad I won't be miss them because of the other fatal flaw they have.

The biggest problem with the plaintiff design is the lack of unobtainium ear stems. This is absolutely a horrible problem for several reasons. First, comfort was an issue as the plastic ear stems constantly dug into my skin and made it very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Second and biggest problem they constantly CONSTANTLY slipped off my face, moved, and shifted no matter how little I was moving. They would slip down my nose bridge constantly. This lead to them taking quite a few dives to the pavement and scratched the lenses up quite a bit.

I paid full retail on these. Big mistake. If you can find them heavily discounted then go for it. They make a good beater pair, but beyond that steer clear!

Love this pair just picked them up. They look a lot like the deviations but have a coverage more like an inmate. Super light weight, the chrome and red really pop also.
