These are a cool idea and are really sweet to look at, but they are not at all practical. Like everyone would expect the frames allow a ton of light to come through the frames, which is very distracting while driving. The one suggestion I would have for Oakley is to sand down or scuff up the nose pieces of this frame because the light tends to go through the nose pieces and onto the inside of the lens. Sanding them down cuts down on this immensely.
It's very nice to see Clear on more new frames. Looks good combined with flashy lenses as well as with Chrome.
Although possibly perceived as somewhat "bland" by many standards, the standout feature of having a "clear" frame is that it matches nearly any and every lens offering that Oakley could come up with. Colorful lenses such as Fire or Ice create great contrast with this frame.
Clear is one of my all-time favorite frame colors. I hunted down the Oil Rigs in Clear just because it was so rare. I'm stoked that clear is being offered on more frames.
