What a great lens!

One of the best Oakley lens tint I have ever encountered.

The base tint is actually quite similar to that of the Shallow Blue Polarized lenses, but the light transmission of the Tungsten Iridium Polarized lenses is a bit lower (15%) and thus they are a bit more versatile to use, from very bright light to overcast.

IMHO they offer more contrast and depth perception than the VR28 Black Iridium Polarized, but they distort the colour quite a bit more and are not as soothing to the eye than the VR28 or G40 tints.

Definitely recommended.
My 2nd favorite after the OO Black Iridium Polarized.

A great lens, my absolute favorite. Besides looking fantastic in Jet Black Flak Jackets, this lens is wearable from very bright light to low light conditions. Excellent for driving on clouded days where the sun comes through every now and then but at the same time a solid choice on hot summer days. If I could only carry one pair of glasses with me for a given period, it would be this.

After the juliets changed over to hydrophic I wad looking for a polarized lens that would look good in a x-metal frame. It came down to tungsten and vr28. I went with the tungsten because I wanted to try something new and they looked reall good in the fuente antix. I wasn't disappointed. Great contrast and dark enough for Florida days. I hop they make this available in more models
dawn to dusk - all weather -
After a few months i continue to be amazed by these. Yesterday, overcast, hazy late afternoon, i tested these with/without while walking on a sidewalk. there were some red and yellow flowers and they were much clearer and brighter, each leaf edge was more defined with these on. So my new condition range for these is dawn to dusk, all weather.

i also notice this in sunny late afternoon, all the light pollution from the reflected glass off the buildings and cars makes things look cloudy, or straining to the eyes without polarized lenses. these Tungsten Iridium Polarized in a Radar Pitch are my fav to wear now, out of gold iridium, ice iridium, fire iridium, 24K iridium which are all sitting on a shelf.

A good polarized, contrast lens. Slightly darker than gold iridium and more brown. Great for full sun.
