The first thing I want to say is "Yes, yes & yes! Give me more!"

I was not a fan of gradient lenses at first, I thought it was a fashion choice for douchebags. Then I saw a pair of Crosshair 2012, black chrome with black grey gradient. At first I thought it was a grey lens until I tried them on. It happened to be a rainy day and these are perfect for that occasion. I live in Florida, an area that is prone to afternoon showers, I hate driving in the rain and taking my glasses on and off. As mentioned the transition is barely noticeable but the lens is dark enough when the sun decides to come back out. I hope they start using the color a lot more, I'd love to see it in a Holbrook.

I have them in the eyepatch2 blue clear fade. They are as Oakley describes them, all purpose. On sunny days it takes a couple minutes for your eyes to adjust, but then its okay. The transitioning is barely noticeable unless your focusing on one object and moving your head up and down. They aren't dark enough to hide you eyes completely, but if you are wearing a hat or are far (10ft) away, no one will see your eyes. Great job Oakley. Get them if you are on the fence!

It's a cool idea, but I have yet to really find a use for them. I only have it in the Twitch. If I had this lens in one of my frames that I used more, I may have more love for it.

I really like this lens a lot. I got them in my sig. Twitch and when I first saw them I couldn't tell they were gradient at all. I thought it was just the lighting of the room. So if you are into gradient lenses for style and a fashion statement I would avoid these. These can be used in very sunny days and function pretty well to block the brightness of the sun.

I have this in the Ryan Shecker Twitch and I really like it. It doesn't immediately come across as a gradient - either from looking at it or through it. Unlike other gradients that are basically useless in bright light situations, this gradient can be used on sunny days. It is by far my favorite gradient lens Oakley has on the market at the moment.
