Not as heavy as it can appear, like an X-Metal vault I would say.

Theres different combinations of foam inside to house different and numbers of lenses. Mine has 12 slits to house 6 pairs of lens.

If you can get your hands on one, its really recomended, way better then having them in those little tiny boxes.
