Frame: Thread 4.0 Steel Brown/Thread 2.0 Polished Black
Lens: Oakley demo lenses
tried these new babies on just a few hours ago, at first impression when taking the frame out of the display cabinet, is that they're really thin and lightweight. after i put them on, i wasn't really impressed with 2.0 polished black cos it doesn't really suit me(too sharp looking). but i was totally blown away by the 4.0 steel brown. i totally dig the frame colour, the color is very elegant and make the 4.0 looks sickeningly stylish when wearing them(maybe it's just my skin color).
the earstems can flex and it must say it feels better on the head than even the famous spring hinged frames of O, but that's a personal preference. i wonder if those earstems can retain it's shape/curve in long term wear.., will it be able to retain the shape like those flexon frames no matter how(i mean just the earstems).
this is a rx frame that i actually really like amongst lotsa lotsa O's rx frames choices, and the feeling of being blown away trying them on is really on par with the chop top, if you know what i mean.
Frame: Pewter

Wow! Thin, light, and comfortable. These prescription frames are simply amazing. They seem to float on my head, even though I have thick lenses. The earstems flex, giving the sensation of spring hinges even though these frames are non-spring-hinged. The rest of the frame is very sturdy, especially considering how thin it is. Subtle angular details on the nose bridge and near the hinges are a nice touch. The embedded icons are cool, too.
