One of my favorite wire color combinations. I liked it so much on the OO-e that I got this one too. As Bong says in his review, this is a classy looking pair of shades. The shiny frame finish is a nice change from the matte or satin finishes on other wire frame colors. G30 is a great all-purpose lens but can be a bit too light on the brightest days. It enhances contrast without the sepia-toned color distortion that bronze-based lenses create.

As far as fit, these are naturally much tighter than the spring-hinged variant. While not uncomfortable, I certainly prefer the gentler tension provided by the spring hinges.

Since the orbital screws are near the nosepads, I do find the orbitals to be less rigid than the spring hinge version, which screws together near the hinges. Not a big deal, but they just seem to flex a bit more than other styles, and there is always a visible line or even a slight gap where the orbital is split.

I got these as a gift from my buddy in the Marine Corps. I mainly use these for work (I work at a police dept). They look very professional and are very comfortable (I have a smaller head). The Polarized lenses are mainly used in the summer time. I don't get headaches from the lenses (like a lot of reviews in other places claim). Instead, I have a much better field of vision, with these. The bronze lenses are great for the winter time, when I need some contrast. The glasses are great, especially for a professional look. The drawback is that they will bend out of shape if enough force is put on them. My buddy borrowed them and returned them bent. I had to send them to Oakley to be fixed and it was $50

Very nice pair of shades. Understated but very elegant and can be worn formal as well as sport. These have been my second pair of Oakleys for a year or more now and I really am glad I own them! Thet don't have spring hinges but that is ok as they won't cusp too tight on your temples. They are very cool looking and get some good compliments. Some people say the Oakley grey lens is nothing much! but I tend to disagree as I like the grey mainly as it allows a comfortable 18% light to the eye instead of the 10% like Black Iridium. When transmissions get down to 10% or lower that is just too dark, even in the mid summer or on snow, so grey works great! While I suppose plain grey is not very special on outside it's still a good humble performer! This style square wire 2.0 is very small, but thats how the style is meant to be! I can't see why that worries some people. The small cute size even gives them a bit of a hip fashion appeal I reckon! Notice how lots of small mens sunglass styles eg these and the penny tend to look very cool over the bigger and ugly ones! Thats a fact I reckon! Smaller and cuter = sophisticated and cooler :- )

Simply Beautiful Combination. I love the colour green and I also love the environment and work in Conservation so I proudly sport these! The Juliet in Plasma with Emerald and these Square wire 2.0 Pewter Emerald were the best combinations like Phil said, I agree. I love the slight vintage style about these as green is a famous old time Sunglass colour! Rayban have done it for ages but rarely ever tint the mirror in green. The sunglasses also have a bit of a hip style about them! but thats not an insult they look so great! These have been my regular Sunglasses for 6 months now I would never have the heart to sell them. They look sleek ,sophistcated and very cool all 3! I won't worry about Juliets as these are metals even though they are not X-Metal, I can't see the big difference. 5 stars for these.

I bought these for the sole purpose that I wanted Square Wires, and that they were and exclusive colorway. They were also the first pair that I really didn't like wearing. The Emerald Iridium looked kinda gold and changed seemed to darken every color significantly, unlike Black Iridium. I gave them away, and don't really regret it at all. My complaint was with the lens color, not the glasses. I wish I had gotten them in Black Iridium.
