Frame: all 4
Lens: different iridium
Just love the splatter m frame! Bought a first pair in Bristoll, UK, back in the nineties. Pink with blue heater... Wore them for triathlon races and eventually sold them. When starting collecting a while ago I directly wanted to get all of these!
Frame: Pink splatter and Gray Splatter
Lens: Blue Iridium
These are probably the most interesting series of early Oakley shades that Oakley released. Only available in 4 different color combinations with limited production. Each pair was hand painted and unique, with no 2 pair exactly alike. I've actually worn these occasionally and will get comments from Oakley connoisseurs about their rarity. I have to give respect to Oakley for their creativity in the early 1990's for releasing these. I've been a true Oakley follower since the late 1980's and appreciate these shades more than any other vintage oakley shades. Highly recommend owning a piece of early Oakley history.
Frame: Pink Splatter
Lens: +Red Iridium Hybrid
I acquired these for the sheer novelty of ownership. I sent a picture of them to several of my friends, and the responses were:
"Is that a Jackson Pollock Special Edition?"
"Sweet"
"I decided I want them. I must have them."
"Are those made for a girl?"
The Jackson Pollock comment hit the nail on the head. If you can find these in any color, get them. You won't be sorry. The other fun fact is that this is the only frame I've seen with Pink Earsocks and a Pink Nosepiece, if your into that sort of thing...
Frame: Splatter Pink - never worn
Lens:Blue Iridum Heater
I have the frame that was never worn but the lenses that are in them were worn. I think they are the sickest paintscheme Oakley ever did. They are very bright also. I just take them out of the bag ever now and then just to look at them. Truely a piece of Oakley history.
The M-Frame is probably my favorite style. I have like 6 pair of Gen 1's.
