Have to agree with bong on this one, and not only because "bong ain't wrong", but because the old-school black boxes bring back that nostalgic feeling. Oakley truly knows the art - the art of creating a great looking pair of shades as well as adding value for the collector by creating a visually appealing box for their eyewear. The e Wire 2.1 box was no exception, featuring a close-up shot of the glasses and frames, poised at an angle (for a dramatic effect). The label on the end of the box was cool, too, as it featured a frontal pic of the glasses along with the color indication of the shades inside.
i actually like the older black sunglasses boxes more than the newer yellow boxes. the e-wire 2.1 box shows a close-up of the frames in a very simple but artful way, makes a bold statement.
