Family: O Matter

LIEUTENANT -
I really don't like this one. It's a very controversial finish, and it only worked well in the older and thinner frames, especially when it was combined with another finish, preferably the fmj platinum such as in the splice. It's certainly not a color that stars on a frame since it's submitted and not dominant, and when applied in today's bigger frames like the monster pup,it's just horrible.I really don't understand what oakley see in that, and use it so extensively.

This is an awesome color. It works very well with either a Bronze or Gold Iridium lens. I'd say this is a "must have" for any collection.
TERRORISM -
As aforementioned, Polished Rootbeer almost appears black when viewed in dim lighting, but in bright light its dark brown, translucent color becomes evident. Paired with a brown-colored lens such as Gold Iridium or VR28 Black, this frame looks fantastic.

Like the name says, it's the exact same shade as rootbeer. When you hold them up in the sunlight they're kind of an ugly translucent light brown, but when they're up against your face they're actually a very nice looking dark brown... almost black. Get this color if you like the Brown Tortoise but want a more masculine shade without the swirls.
Pander -
The Polished Rootbeer is translucent frame color which is not really a solid color. A lot of different variations within the frame. I'm not really enthousiastic about it to be honoust. I prefer the frames that have only one single color and aren't translucent, but it still looks very different than any other pair. It sticks out in a crowd of mono-toned sunglasses.
