Frame: Dark Carbide
Lens: Black Iridium
I bought these plainly because they were on special at the time and i wanted another colour to the Ice switch i have. I thought being a new glass i wouldn't have problems with the paintwork like my Ti frame, but I was wrong. The ceramic coating seems extremely thin at the edges, paint below the hinge has no been coated fully, to the extent that i have to take extreme care when cleaning the glass so that the edges stayed in good nik.
I spotted at least four areas now where paint is starting to fall away, and with a dark frame it's extremely noticable! My FMJ minutes have lasted longer and I've had them for years. Haven't taken these to Oakley because i bought these underprice so the store didn't give me a warranty. Only bought these because of the price and suited me ok style wise.

I like these more than I thought I would when I ordered them. The colors are great and the design is simple. For such a simple design these get a lot of attention, maybe it's the colors. Either way they look pretty good on me, and fit my head well. The spring hinges feel nice (after I snugged up the screws a bit) and make for a comfortable fit on my med/largish size melon. Despite the frames bulk they are very light, and sturdy feeling.
The verdict for me on these is, a good addition to the collection, but I won't wear them often. Nice to look at on display though.

I was able to get these NOS off of the net last week at a great price. So i will try to review as if i had paid full retail for them.
The Frames are very light weight and have a great feel to them. They seem to have a great flex on the hinges and would accommodate anyone with a slightly larger head. The FOUR series frames are very simple and seem to have little offerings to set them apart from other glasses of similar styles other than the brandishing of the "O" on the side are. Which in my opinion is more than enough to compensate for the slight blind spot they create.
The Fire Iridium Lenses are amazing... beautiful color and supreme clarity.
Bottom Line... I won't be wearing them very often just because they do not fit my face very well but a great light weight frame for anyone who can pull it off.

really simple look and nothing radical about it but it is an Oakley magnesium so it does make a statement
