I used to own the original half jacket and liked them, however, they just didn't look right on me dispite the fact that I liked the look. Because of that, I was excited for the Half Jacket 2.0 at the hopes of them looking better on my face. Sure enough, they look and fit way better and I am completely satisfied! Great addition to the collection!

Really wanted to like these, but they just didn't look right on my face. I went with the Bottle Rocket and I LOVE them. Bottle Rocket is a little less expensive, but there isn't too much variety in their frame colors. Maybe time will change that. I also felt that the Unobtanium on the nose was something that might get lost or come off down the road.

I have an old pair of XX Twenty Oakleys (Silver Frame / Fire Lens) with Unobtanium on the nose. I almost lost one of the pieces on the nose. Since then, it has always been "loose" and makes me wary of the same feature on new glasses. So, for more than one reason, I went with the Bottle Rocket over the Half Jacket 2.0 XL.

I like these much better than the Flak Jackets and the regular Half Jackets. The fit just feels alot better for some reason. Feels nice and tight, light weight, frame looks great and the color options are awesome! G30 lenses will always be one of my favorite since they don't make everything look super dark when its a little cloudy or dark in some areas like fire or black iridium lenses do. Same as other review it's just a great redesign and is solid Oakley.

Some really great improvements from the original, which I also liked. The wing is gone, and they look like a Flak somewhat but they fit me better. Good coverage on the lenses (could be a little bigger) and and great grip on the stems and nose pieces. A really good redesign of a classic, no gimmicks like the Fast Jackets, just solid Oakley.
