Like everyone has said it's a great update to the Radar. I like that two lenses are included, easy to change but I wish they were two usable lenses and not one that I won't use, but I guess that's what the custom program is for. I'm also glad that a strap is included, a good feature that other models don't enjoy. If I had any complaints it's that the vents get in my way as these sit low on my face. It won't stop me from buying another one though.

Overall this is a good update to the Radar with the swichlock to change lenses more easily. However as mentioned by the previous reviewer I have to agree that overall the frame is more flimsy than the original Radar due to having the swtichlock built in. The Radarlock is a good alternative for those that need to change lenses frequently but will probably not completely replace the original Radar.

Nice upgrade to the standard. Note that these lenses do not fit on the standard radar frame and vice versa. Also the earstocks are different too. However the nose bombs are exactly the same and will fit both frames. A like both frames but I must admit the new radarlock has a more elegant looking frame. This pair will be used for my usual activities of beach/grass volleyball, running, and tennis.

These are awesome. Construction wise they are cool, but a touch on the flimsy side at the new switchlock hinge. its great that its easier to change lenses - the nosepiece pops off the lens much easier than in the original radar, and you dont get that fear of breaking the lens or nosepiece each time haha.

The Matte white with text inserts is the only frame that really stood out for me; when the colorway names were released i really wanted glacier to be a matte translucent clear to blue fade, but alas, it was just a sky/baby blue.

the fit is more secure than the original radar, and feels more 'solid' as a whole. The earstems have holes for the new strap (ala racing jacket and split jacket) so thats nice.

With regards to the switchlock mechanism, it still requires quite alot of lens handling, which makes it fiddly and doesnt really improve lens changing speed. at least with the Jawbone you never actually have to smudge the lenses when installing or removing them. I am also saddened that the lenses do not interchange with the normal radar lenses. For that reason, these wont get alot of use unless im fishing (polarised works wonders), or until i build up a stash of lenses for them.

I picked these up on my vacation earlier in the week. I have worn them a handful of times now and I am impressed. The frame is only Slightly different than a normal radar. The fit seems to be a bit snugger though at least with the pair I purchased. For this is fine because I have a smaller head and radars always fit a little loose on me. The comfort is exactly what you expect from a radar and I have not had any problems with fogging of the lenses.

The lock technology is quite nice. I was under the impression that both sides opened however only one side does ( maybe I'm alone in this assumption). Regardless changing lenses is quite easy. It really eliminates the twisting of the frame that was required on a regular radar. The new technology and the addition of a second lens justifies the price increase IMO.

The only drawback I see is it is really unfortunate Oakley was not able to make original radar lenses work in the new frames. I'm sure I'm not the only

More curved than the original lenses. Maybe this was neccisarry or maybe Oakley knew hey would sell a lot of lenses this way. Either way, it's only a minor complaint for me.
