If I could, I'd give Dark Bronze a solid 4.5. Darker than Bronze, lighter than Grey, but with increased contrast. I find myself wearing my Hijinx with this lens on bright days without a second thought. A very good all-purpose lens.

i somewaht feel oakley is running out of iridium, as most of the lenses wih this coating are unavailable. And non-iridium lenses are wide available.
So instead of tungsten or titanium-iridium i bought dark bronze for my split jacket. overall i am very happy with the lens as it ofers all the constrast i need and very good protection against bright light. Only in some situations with lot´s of glare (glass, asfalt, water ) i wish they had iridium coating, or at least polarized wich is only available in the bronze.

I agree with Jon. These lenses should be rated much higher than a 3.2. These are great contrast lenses and offer a wide variety of versatility. Overall, these are excellent!

I have no idea why these have such a low rating! These are GREAT! I love contrast lenses, and have Titanium and VR28 Black Iridium lenses. I wanted something similar but different at the same time. Although the base is almost identical to the Titanium, there are subtle differences. These are great for all conditions, and haven't let me down yet. There isn't any iridium coating on these, but your eyes are pretty well hidden behind these lenses. Great lenses overall!

I used to have this lens in the Felon and Hijinx. It was alirght at first but it seems just a little too brownish-green? It is good for extremely bright light. The lens does help increase contrast and green really seems to pop, but when put up against bronze or bronze polarized, they just seem to make the world look a whole lot nicer. I have since replaced the lens in my hijinx with bronze polarized and the Felons spend a whole lot of time in the drawer.

I got a pair of these direct from Oakley. These are far better than even bronze polarized, in terms of full sun as the base bronze in bronze polarized is too light. I'd like to see the SI glasses come with this lens color as an option.

Nice lenses. I am a fan of contrast lenses and I wasn't sure about these until I tried them. The view is really crisp through these. I have been wearing mostly polarized lenses lately but there are just days/times when you don't need it. They can be a bi dark for certain apps but overall, a very versatile color. I have then in my tortoise Hijinx and with the large frame coverage, it makes everything just a touch darker still. I think the color of the frame has a lot to do with these lens' asthetics but on a brown type frame...HOT HOT HOT!
