Contrast is more on the subtle side, compared to the other contrast lenses I've tried.

Color-wise... Definitely adds a yellowish-brown tint to things when looking through them.

The Iridium coating on this one is very pronounced -- like a mirror when looking at the lenses from the outside. Though in very sunny conditions, you can still kind of see the eyes behind them.

Very good versatile lens, more suited to bright and sunny days, but can be used in overcast conditions as well.

This is by far the best lens I've owned and I've been through more than a few in the oakley line including: Black, Black Polarized, Fire Polarized, Ruby, + Red, Gold, and VR 28 (I've tried many more also). The polarization is much more subtle and useful than with something like Black Iridium or Fire Polarized (the polarization in B.I. was distracting at times). For some reason my line of sight in bright conditions is significantly further with these than my other favorites such as Gold Iridium. Banarno is right on, these are perfect from very bright conditions to overcast. The only thing I don't like is that they appear very yellow when you're using them on overcast days. Instead of black iridium this should be the lens that's the first choice for Oakley to put in their frames. Bronze based lenses are the best and I think this is the top of the heap. IMO: Titanium Iridium is the best lens Oakley offers.

Not bad. Just got a pair with these lenses. They're not as harsh as straight Bronze or Amber. Very nice contrast.

Wow. I thought these would be like the Titanium Iridium, but these are far better! The contrast is not as heavy, and it just makes everything look extremely sharp and amazing! This is definitely one of the best lenses out there next to the VR28 Black Iridium Polarized lenses.

Very good lens!Just wore them, all day long with my half jackets yesterday. There is a nice mild brown tint, soothing to the eyes inside, and extremely impressive and reflective titanium on the outside(and I really wonder why did they ever preferred the tungsten over this for the pit boss?).The contrast is not so intensive though,(last week I was wearing a crosshair with amber lenses, and I swear, there was more green on every image than I could handle, however, that doesn't happen with the titanium). And of course the polarization is once again unbelievable.Consider that the basic titanium iridium lens is even more reflective on the outside.anyway, this one is one great lens.5 out of 5 without hesitating for a second!!!!!!!

Just changed my Pit Boss VR28 Black Iridium Polarized lenses to the Tungsten Iridium Polarized lenses, I love them, I think this by far the best lenses Oakley made, I'm very happy with the change!

Amazing lens. Have them in the titanium crosshairs and they make a great colourway combination. Abit easier on the eyes than my VR28 black iridium polarised (which in contrast applies a pinkish tint). I agree that they should offer this lens with more models across the range ... but it is a pricey lens and most people probably wouldn't opt for it in the cheaper frames.

For a polarized lens, they handle a good range of lighting conditions. They cut out glare on sunny days and on the snow ... but also give additional contrast on overcast days where I would normally wear my pink iridiums out ...

Very stylish and understated look to the titanium iridium finish. Looks good with jeans ... even better with a sharp suit.

Very nice. These are a great contrast lens they provides just enough contrast to allow them to be worn in all situations. They almost seem like a cross between Tungsten Iridium polarized and VR28. I just wish they would release more frames with this lens.

I have these lenses in my half jackets and they are by far my favorite lenses ever.

First the look. They are probably my favorite looking lenses from the outside. You can sometimes see the bronze base underneath the silver mirror. These lenses are not boring like grey or black iridium, but still are not obnoxious like Fire Iridium.

These are amazing from the inside too. Kind of like the gold iridium lenses but a bit more neutral. They offer great contrast in lower light conditions (I can wear them until the sun actually sets), but also can handle the sun. I will probably get a pair of Ice Iridium lenses however, for the beach. Although these lenses are polarized, they let in a bit to much for a really sunny beach day, and probably for skiing in the sun as well (I haven't gotten to wear these lenses in really bright conditions on the mountain yet).

Also, the bronze base tint really brings out greens. When I play tennis, for example, the ball really jumps out from the background. I think this effect is amazing in a sport lense.

This is a wonderful all around lense (my daily one in my half jackets) and the best lense I've ever experienced. Well worth the extra cash.

I've always preferred neutral lenses. In fact, I've staunchly avoided them entirely, because I've never really wanted to get used to a new color palate for my eyes. I got the Ti Irid because they come standard with the Titanium Crosshairs, a frame I was dying to own. I figured if I hated the lenses, I could always swap them out with Black Iridium or Black Iridium Polarized.

Fortunately, no swap will be necessary; these lenses have won me over. They are a contrast lens, but at least they're subtle. I give 4/5 stars because I would still prefer a neutral base, but they're excellent nonetheless. They're pleasantly bright, and useful in a wide variety of light conditions. I had them on yesterday while it was bleak and overcast, but kept them on after the sun had come out. They performed great in both circumstances.

UPDATE:
I still prefer a neutral base in most circumstances, especially in extremely bright light, where contrast lenses can be a bit too much. However, these are the best lenses I've ever used while driving, no matter what the lighting conditions. In bright light, they cut glare coming off the dashboard. On overcast days, they bring out the contrast.

Love these lenses for all the reasons listed below. They are a very subtle bronze, and a great lens all around.

One point though -- I originally wanted to do a custom pair of the Half Jackets with a silver frame and these lenses. I didn't realize, however, that the lenses were bronze tinted. It was pointed out to me that the silver and bronze wouldn't quite go together, so I ended up going with matte black, which I now see is a much better choice. These lenses go best with black or darker brown/bronze frames, I think. White might be fine too, alhtough I haven't seen the combination..

Awesome lens, that has just the right balance for just about any condition you like, and the polarization cuts down on glare if you are near water.

This is a fantastic lens.

From the inside - the amber tint isn't overwhelming but it's nice. The polarization makes colours stand out so much it's disappointing to take these off.

From the outside - nice mirror finish, can see one's eyes only partially and under very specific conditions, otherwise it's totally reflective. At the same time there isn't that 'look-at-me' factor (like Fire or 24k) which I think is a plus.

I can't see how this could be any better.

Best lens in my opinion..... wish it came in more frames!
