I wish I could have asked for a lens kit. I would have been more than happy to do the work myself, but I was told that the only way I could receive new lenses is if I sent the glasses in. I had no other option. I'd also like to include that the lenses I sent in had nothing wrong with them. I just wanted a different look for the time being. So to compare them with old tires, old auto parts or used oil is like comparing apples to oranges. Looking at the glasses now, I'm not totally sold on the ruby and would definately like the option of going back to black, but unfortunately that is not an option. I guess "stole" is pretty extreme, but I think it's fairly accurate.

It would have been nice for the rep that I spoke to to let me know that. I figured since I'm paying full price for lenses they won't keep what is rightfully mine. I would gladly have replaced the lenses myself, but they won't let you do that. Either way, I have absolutely no trust for the warranty service department and I'm seriously considering contacting the BBB to inform them of this. How am I supposed to know their policy? They should inform me of this policy.

I recently sent my Penny's in for a lens replacement from black to ruby and I got them back yesterday without my old lenses. Let's see I sent in a pair of perfectly good lenses and got charged full price for a new set. Unfortunately customer service said my lenses are already gone, so there's nothing I can do. From this board, I've heard that they send them back. Is this true? The way I look at it they have stolen from me and I think I need to follow up on this with the BBB and my bank. Any help would be appreciated.
