I've often heard that the ® registered trademark is a dead giveaway that the item is fake. There's a guy on ebay selling some eye jacket frames, and he swears they are real. When I ask questions, he seems very vague, and just keep saying authentic or free.

Man I don't know what they are, but everything screams late 80's early 90's. I had a cheap pair of sunglasses, that were similar, back in 1992.
