Here's a question for you guys, were the penny's in x-2 and x-3 actually coated with X-Metal, sideblinders and all? Or were they merely painted the same color after they were attached. Because the frames blend together with the blinders so they must have been puttied and sanded down..

Yeah, the font they used I think is the best choice, it seems Classy!

Does anyone have any pics of the sideblinders from the back, I wanted to see how they look on the inside when attached to the glasses. Thanks!

I couldn't figure out why the Ruby was so expensive in the penny and juliet when the ruby editions of other glasses weren't like the XXs'. Is it just because of X-Men?

yeah they look a little bulky compared to the movie ones, that's the only thing holding me back right now on those.

And to answer James question I heard from Jason Spencer himself that they are titainium coated on the back with a died red lense. You can see the same effect on the goggles I was talking about only the base tint on those is burgandy/rose.

Well, the images are on like page 6 or so, go check them out to see some true ruby quartz.

Those lenses are willy wonka halloweeng googles, nothing more then that. Here, see for yourself http://www.buycostumes.com/productdetail.aspx?productid=19473&KNC-nextag

The one advertised on the ebay page for the penny blinders, and the pictures Oak posted a while back, those are another story.

Its easy to tell because the they aren't red red, they're more brownish-red/burgandy. The real thing is quite different once you've seen it.
