If you take the cleats off, can they be worn for everyday use? I would love to wear a pair for work.

Sure can, you just have to worry about getting stuff stuck in the hole the cleats came out of.

If they're anything like track spikes, you can buy studs to put in those holes to keep junk from getting in there.

I actually did this once but its not the most comfortable shoe on a hard surface. I was going to a wedding, remembered the golf shoes and forgot the dress shoes so i just took out the cleats and used the golf shoes but the sole of she is very stiff. Not the best on a hard surface

I have done this with a pair of double taps.
I wear them to work.
Only issue is the rubber on the sole is soft and wears very quicky on concrete.

I wear them without the "spiders", as well. Good shoe.

Crap does get up in the cleat holes. It would be great if there were "plugs" that could be put in the holes.
