Toolbox (left) and Toolbox 2.0 (right)

for those of you who haven't got one but still thinking about it...let me point out some of the major difference

some differences:
1) the top structure has obviously changed with the 2.0 having that partial divot tool look.

2) 2.0 now opens from the back, see the hinge holes up front (for more security on crowded areas)

3) Goggle case is gone on the 2.0 (why???)

4) extra pocket on the side of the 2.0

5) wider openning on top cover of the 2.0 with bigger compartment

6) shoulder strap is just slighty wider (2.0)

7) zipper handle

more pictures:

opens from the back (2.0)

buckle located at the back (2.0)

clear vs solid

big wide mouth

although the integrated goggle case is gone for the 2.0, the retail price stays the same at $99. Go get yours by calling over the phone since I don't think it's available online

Thanks Cal. Some of the changes are nice, others (i.e. goggle case omission) arent. But overall, I think its an impovement. I can't wait to see the changes in the AP Pack 2.0.

nice work Cal... thanks for the info! i like the overall look of the 2.0, i think the first one looks a little squat in comparison. shame about the missing goggle case though.

Hey guys. I'm thinking of getting the toolbox 2.0 for summer motorcycling. I just want to know if any of you have ever try to fit a full face motorcycle on this backpack? and does it fit well?

Nice info Cal! I know it's time consuming to do the type of things you do for the site. Thanks for continuing to share your inside info. with all of us mortals - it's people like you that keep the rest of us coming back every day for new info.... This is the type of info. that could only be found here....no where else on the planet....

Awesome!

Quality work Cal. I don't have an Oakley pack yet but I'll be well informed when I do decide. Thanks
