Hey guys, its been a while!

Anyway, fed up of Mountain biking in really heavy rain..At times having to take my pro mframes and half jackets off to be able to see (which of course lets things get into my eyes)

So to get around this would you actually put rain x on your lenses (what about clear/ h.i Yellow lenses?)

Is the water jacket solution just rebranded rain x?

Has anybody tried them both?

for now use the Water jacket solution not rain x. Coming in O7 you will see some sport specific frames with a hydrophobic coating.

Amen !

Defender, how awesome are those lenses, seriously ! Played with them a few months back and they are very impressive. Get ready for some serious performance eyewear.

I use rain-x a lot on my Truck but it doesn't really work well unless your doing at least 40 mph.....fast enough for the wind to blow the beaded water off the windshield - unsure how it would perform on your glasses....

Exactly Dann, this is precisely one of the few tests we got to run on the new hydrophobic lenses. We would try to write on the lense with sharpies and other wet-ish pens, and nothing would stay on : it would constantly pearl off...

Also, it is much harder to leave fingerprints on those new lenses, another benefit.

ive used water jacket solution on my hi yellow, clear and black lenses in my m frames and racing jackets for the last couple of years without a problem...

Not been brave enough to try it on any of the polarised lenses though
