Some of the oakley patents have been listed before but google is now searching the patent archive, making it slightly easier to work with!

For those interested in searching for Oakley patents.

There are a lot of patents for M-frames, (Sub)Zero's and Hammer Earstems! You would expect every model to have just one patent, but now you can see the real evolutionairy design. It keeps growing with everytime more detail.
Very nice find, could become a different section here on the site!

Ahhh, I forgot about that section! Sorry Dann!

Still, a useful resource for any other patent searching you might want to do

I didn't include all the geeky text stuff, so it's still useful.

Are the patents accredited to Oakley itself as a company, or to the creators individually?

Not sure what you mean - it lists the inventors and the assignees separately.

Both, Oakley, Inc. is the assignee name, but individual people hold the patents as well as inventor/designer names.
