Ok, how IMPOSSIBLE is this to do?
I can change lenses on M Frames, 1/2 Jkts, Wires, O Matter...anything but Spikes! Any tips or tricks?

Well I don't have any tips, but to give you an idea of how hard it can be, my O-Store has thrown out FOUR pair of spike frames just trying to get the lenses in. And when we finally did (you start in the middle and work your way out and around) they were so bent out of shape, you couldn't sell them. The Vault store has been selling people the parts, and having them put em in themselves.

They are very very hard. I spoke with the guys at walk in yesterday and they told me they made some customs a while back, and even they messed up 2 of the 10 pair trying to build them. If they have some issues, they must be very hard to swap lenses and the likes.

Damn near impossible, Start by butting the outside corners of the lens in, then slightly bend the inside corner of the lens into place the only part that should not be "popped in yet is the top and bottom. work these in with youre and there you go.....theoreticly

Yep, that’s it, temple side in first the bend the lens to insert the nose bridge side then top and bottom. Takes a lot of practice!

I was the first to get them in sucessfully and repeatedly at our store, the trick I used was outside (next to the hinge) first then flex the lens to get the inside corner (top, next to the nose bridge), pop in the top and finish with the bottom. Lots of finger muscle and practice but I have done maybe 45 of them now and the only damaged frames I have had were one Titanium frame that the hinges are really loose on now (very odd). Good Luck

Over at my store we were able to put together several different color combinations just so that we can have them on display. We discovered in the process that some of the lenses are bigger than others.

Odd. The one time I did it (first day they came in, months back) it was no more difficult than an MD.

I did the two bottom corners first, out of habit.
