With all the variance of the fire lenses from the 1st gen to 2nd to 3rd ,
the 1st gen looks more like Ruby
while the 3rd Gen looks more like 24k . Do you guys agree?

Fire vs Fire vs Fire
1st, 2nd & 3rd Gen (left to right)

3rd Gen Fire vs 24K (left to right)
*3rd gen fire has a hint of red/orange while 24k does not*

3nd gen Ruby vs 1st& 2nd gen Fire (left to right)
looks like the 3rd gen ruby is between the 1st & 2nd gen fire

1st gen Ruby vs the Fires (left to right)
*notice the 1st gen fire is a bit more transparent and orangy than the Ruby*

Confusing yet, now look at the big picture, can you pinpoint which is which?

(
(last row left to right) 1st gen Ruby; 1st gen Fire; 2nd gen fire
(middle row left to right)-------3rd gen fire; 24k ---------
(1st row left to right)-----2st gen Ruby;3rd gen Ruby------
*note: 1st gen Ruby (Juliet)and 2nd Ruby(Penny) have a very SUBTLE difference*

The goggle version of fire has a slight blueish/greenish tinge to it.

2nd gen fire only...around the corner when looking at it from the side.

For the 1st gen, if looking straight up...it's more like Ruby but since it's convexed so much that you can see a bit of the Fire hue

Mine may have been the 1st Gen since there is only a slight indication of that blue and green

Part of the green is due to the size of the lens - Fire M Frames are like it too.

the color changes have to do with how long the lens is left in the Iridium chamber. the outside of the lens gets less material on it, hence the green tint. On the bigger, more curved lens, it's more pronounced.

lol confusing indeed. Never really noticed it before but ya I guess the new fires look a LOT like 24k.
