I'm filipino (no nose) and I've never tried on an Asian Fit Oakley. Has anyone tried on the Asian Fit Spikes and how does that compare to regular spikes? If regular half jackets and crosshairs fit ok, would it be worth it for me to get asian fit spikes? The regular spikes feel good to me but I don't have the asian fit spikes to compare them to.

I'm not sure how you make a frame that's already got adjustable nosepads more able to fit a flat bridge.

They're painful if you don't need it, but they do the job for those that need it. it's a bit thicker of a pad combined with a longer adjustment wire (I think) that makes the Spike sit a good deal higher obviously.

so the difference in the Asian Fit Spikes are just indeed a thicker nosepad and a longer wire attachent? i had heard it might come with a shallower base curve but i was skeptical about that.

Hadn't thought to check that when we got them in, but you're right, I doubt it as well. Would change the base curve of the lense.

so the asian fit spike isn't as comfortable?

Exactly Eric. If you have a non-alternative nosebridge, then the pads pinch quite a bit. And as heavy as the Spike is, having all that weight close to one point on your nose instead of spread across two, makes a difference. On that note, same thing with the Alternative Riddles, they pinch a lot.
