R1 was defective. Ruins it for me, although I thought they were pretty ugly to begin with.

R2 I fell in love with on first sight, and I'd have three pairs by now if they were just a shade smaller. It'd be nice to see more colorways, though... Can anyone say TiO2/Ice?

R2 looks much better than R1 on me, but I still have to say I much prefer the R1, for reasons that were almost all previously stated...first X-Metal, first Romeo, X nosebridge, huge design...just awesome, regardless of any flaw or problems that may come with it. Love the R2 as well, but if I had to make a choice, it would be R1...but why make a choice when I could save myself the headache and simply acquire both ?

R1 for sure. Such a gorgeous frame and I love the way it fits, even if it is a bit heavy. I'd love to collect the whole set of R1's, but it seems like a shame to buy them all if they're gonna break after wearing them. Wouldn't you all wanna show them off too?

1's a classic.

I pick R2 only because R1 dont look right on me.Not to mention very light for an X metal.
