hey guys, does anyone know any stores in NYC that carries Oakley footwear? i wanna take advantage of the tax free week, but i've tried Oakley's Store Locator and it is practically useless. i've called more than half of the results and not one carried footwear, and one only had sandals. any suggestions? thanx...

Good luck. Finding apparel and footwear not at an O-Store is a bit of a chore.

Macys has a good selection of Oakley clothes in the sports clothing section of the store.
I don't think that they have any shoes though.

tax free week starts today, tuesday Aug 30 and ends on monday, labor day, IIRC, for all clothing and shoes items $110 or less. yeah... Macy's on 34th St. has an ample selection of Oakley clothing, but no shoes... :(

Marshall's has Oakley shoes from time to time. I got two pair of Flesh for $16 each and Nail's for $30 or so. My brother just got some sandals for about that too.

thanks for the tip Dann... if i have time i'll drop by the local Marshall's, although it's kinda out of the way...

anyway, just to clarify things, tax free week on clothing is only in New York City, we have it twice a year. maybe i'll pick up a few Oakley shirts along the way.

Hmm, clothing is always tax free in RI. And material to make clothing. Must be a local thing.
