Bought a pair of square wire 2.0 and was looking to find exact model. Under the arm was this stamp : 71-904g

Any idea if this is a model number or just some type stamp?

Square Wire 2.0 predates the SKU stamping which started in late 2004/2005. The 71-### range was reserved (at the time) for kits (mainly drill kits, but I also have an ear sock kit recorded).

It's most likely an internal SKU, so yes it's real, but much use on a consumer level.
